The 14th LTEC(2026) Conference invites educators, researchers, technologists, and policymakers to explore how Generative AI can foster inclusive, personalized, and transformative learning experiences. It seeks to examine the pedagogical, cognitive, ethical, and technological implications of AI-driven education while reimagining the roles of teachers, learners, and institutions in this new era.

The 14th International Conference on Learning Technology for Education Challenges (LTEC 2026) will be held conjunction with KMO 2026. It will provide the scientific community with a dedicated forum for discussing research and presentation of your work in Learning Technology for Education Challenges (LTEC). All accepted papers will be published by Springer in the Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) proceedings series, which is indexed in Scopus.

Empowering Sustainable Learning through Generative AI

The rapid emergence of generative AI technologies has introduced unprecedented opportunities for personalized learning, pedagogical innovation, and administrative efficiency. Simultaneously, it raises critical questions related to ethics, equity, governance, environmental sustainability, and the evolving nature of human agency in learning. We welcome conceptual, empirical, theoretical, and design-based research that explores these dimensions, as well as practice-oriented work demonstrating scalable solutions.

The 14th LTEC(2026) Conference invites educators, researchers, technologists, and policymakers to explore how Generative AI can foster inclusive, personalized, and transformative learning experiences. It seeks to examine the pedagogical, cognitive, ethical, and technological implications of AI-driven education while reimagining the roles of teachers, learners, and institutions in this new era.

This conference will provide the ideal opportunity to present your research to an international audience. It offers participants an overview of the current situation of education and new learning technologies. You will be able to listen to experts from different countries, representing all continents. 

LTEC 2026 brings together academic research and practical applications of education from all areas, seeking to bring top research and proven best practices together into one location, for the purposes of helping practitioners find ways to put research into practice, and for researchers to gain an understanding of additional real-world problems. Academic research papers, case studies and work-in-progress/posters are welcomed. We welcome researchers from both industry and academia to submit original results of their works.

Review Process

LTEC 2026 welcomes the submission of papers with reference to the topics listed in the call for papers. All submitted papers will undergo a double-blind peer review by at least three experts in the field, based on relevance, originality, significance, quality and clarity.

Submitting Papers

All papers must be formatted according to the word template, with a maximum length of 12 pages, including figures and references for full papers.  Full paper manuscripts must follow the Springer CCIS proceedings format and be prepared using the official Springer proceedings templates (LaTeX or MS Word), available via Springer’s conference proceedings guidelines page. All proposed papers must be submitted in electronic form (WORD file) using the Paper Submission Page https://easychair.org/conferences?conf=ltec20260

*IMPORTANT: Please do not include the author(s) information in the first submission of the paper, in order for double-blind review to take place.

Full paper: 12 pages

Publication

Accepted papers will be included in LTEC 2026 Conference Proceedings.  At least one of the authors will be required to register and attend the symposium to present the paper in order to include the paper in the conference proceedings.

The attachment must be in Word.doc format.

Special Issue

Authors of selected papers from LTEC will be invited to extend and revise their papers for submission to the special issue of International Journal of Learning Technology (IJLT) published by Inderscience.

Travelling to the Philippines

Visa Requirements

Many nationalities may enter the Philippines visa-free for up to 30 days. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry. A confirmed return or onward ticket may be required. Participants are advised to check the eVISAPH website for country-specific requirements.

eTravel Registration (Mandatory)

All arriving passengers must complete the Philippines eTravel registration before arrival. After registration, a QR code will be issued, which must be presented upon arrival. Registration is free and should be completed within 72 hours before travel.

Airport Transportation (NAIA to DLSU Manila or Hotel in Manila)

The most convenient transportation option from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is the Grab mobile application . Grab operates similarly to Uber and is widely used in Manila. Estimated fare to De La Salle University (Taft Avenue) ranges between PHP 300–600, depending on traffic conditions.
